Advertising that Goodlife Gym are honoring membership which isnt true

Really friendly staff, they have a free creche for my young children. Equipment in very good condition, and i love the spin classes they have.
Would recommend this to anyone, they greet you with a a smile, and even knew my name!

I used to be a member of Selby gym however the equipment was aging and many machines out of order. As I moved workplace to south of the river in November 2013 I gave up my membership as the place was so dilapidated it wasn't worth the long drive. The last time I recall attending the gym was December 2013 as I had to give 30 days notice to cancel my membership when I wasn't even on contract anymore.

Come March 2015 I am now back working North of the river again in a nearby office. I saw a Groupon for 30 days at Selby so thought I would give it a go and see if the gym had improved in the last 15 months before I sign up for a long term contract.

When I attended the gym (16/03/2015) I was told by Nick that I couldn't use my Groupon as I used to be a member. I told him that was over a year ago and I would like to see how the gym has improved since I last attended (I could see from the foyer there seemed to have been some improvements made). Nick told me this was in no way possible.

Instead of trying to win back the business of a previous customer Nick turned me away. Bad customer service Selby, I will be recommending everyone in our nearby office to stay away and joining your competitor.
