Subiaco Restoration

Been buying from this company for years and accepted the prices that came with the older looking goods and have used them extensively to renovate 2 houses. That said, I recently purchased four doors from them which were apparently on sale only to find out it’s a Hume doors range and the exact same product can be bought significantly cheaper. Bought brass hardware including door hinges from them and when one hinge broke (fractured) they would not replace the item saying it was the fault of the installer as they had never seen a hinge break like in 14 years which would lead to the assumption the stock was faulty not mishandled as there was no bending or anything to the metal just a sheer break. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars there but no more with the poor service I received today.

Loved going there and enjoyed buying their products until today. Purchased some lighting and used a sparky recommended by subi restorations to put up the lights. After putting up the first one the sparky realised they are not suitable to be installed over a ceiling rose. He suggested I exchange them. Only one had been opened yet they refused to exchange either (I had the receipt) . The said the sparky was wrong...but regardless shouldn't they exchange anyway?
I have a lot if things on order that I will now search for elsewhere. You have lost a customer. So unhappy right now
