I see I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with the so called #1 O'BRIEN'S GLASS PEOPLE.
I needed a windscreen replace while visiting a friend in Victoria. I had driven down from Queensland. I needed to be back by a certain time for work. I thought it would be easy, WRONG.
I'd had the windscreen replaced by them a couple of years earlier, but had gone in personally to a branch for a stone chip which could not be fixed. They quoted me a reasonable price and I got them to do the job,they were awesome and I had no problems. But this time I rand on an 1800 number as you can not ring branch direct. The Woman operator was very pleasant, told her it had to be done asap as I had to drive back to Queensland for work. I was quoted $617, I said that's expensive it only cost me just over $400 last time. Let's see what I can do for you, $492 that was $125 off just like that. I excepted, it was booked in for first thing Wednesday. Dropped car off, had not heard anything so went back late afternoon and to my surprise windscreen not done. They said they had tried to ring me but couldn't. Apparently the replacement windscreen was faulty and only had 1 in stock. I would have thought something would have checked it first, wrong again. They told me 1 would be there Friday lunchtime. Brought car back Friday morning and to my surprise when I picked it up it was done. That's when I informed them that it had cost me an extra $1000 from lost work, which didn't seem to phase them at all. That when it was confirmed, it's all about money and customer service doesn't exist any more.
Then to my surprise they sent me a survey. I filled it out. Straight away I got another survey about my dissatisfaction. Again filled it out and picked option to be called on phone. As I suspected never heard from them. A month later sent another email, stating that I was only 1 customer which was a drop in the ocean. Another month has gone by and still nothing. So I googled Head Office for a phone number, that when I came across the reviews finding that there were heaps of other dissatisfied customers. So obviously they don't care about their so called customers and without us they wouldn't be in business. Again all about money. I certainly won't be going back and as many people I can tell about my experience with O'BRIEN'S GLASS I do. I'll bet my last dollar that they won't get back to me again.

Went to OBriens got a windscreen replaced they placed an aftermarket on in .
Having on going problems with the front windscreen where the crash assist some times works for the camera and then doesnt.
They wont fix the problem with a recalibration
Went to ford they said aftermarket one has been installed and for ford to recal was $500 if a gen one was fitted no price for a recalibration .
Obriens wanted $500 for a recal on that aftermarket screen
I said its an warranty issue with your screen .
And they have left me with an issue that needs to be fixed
And wont fix it.
Do not deal with Obriens its just not worth it
The ACCC and my insurance company will be notified on the issue in the coming days
If you have the new gen ranger ask for a gen ford windscreen to be fitted if needing a replacement.

I was quoted a ridiculous price to fix two small stone chips then offered 20% off when I said it was too much. Still exorbitant so I rang a local repairer who quoted a little over one third of the first price. Then O'Briens rang back to say they could knock $100 off to get the job. I told them I would never do business with a company with such opportunistic pricing strategies.

Poorest service i have had in Australia, i have called them many times, left messages for a time to call me and get called the wrong times. My windscreen has taken almost 3 months to be replaced and is still not replaced, it seems the schedule changes every day, my replacement has been rescheduled at least 5 times. You should not be allowed to advertise as you are not to be believable at all.
I am also not interest in your copy and paste reply that you serve up as and excuse for your poor service
