To anyone considering using Hornicks, I would strongly advise against it, they are not a good company and they have no concern for the customer once they have been paid.



They arrived four hours late on the day of our move. They didn't have the correct equipment to carry out the move. They only had two guys on the job for a full house move. They had to call their boss twice to get more blankets and protection delivered to the site. By the end of the day, I was opening our boxes and asking them to use our blankets and bedding just to avoid any more delays.



We paid for our artwork and tvs to be placed in boxes, however they didn't have the boxes, so all our art and TVs were wrapped in blankets and sheets and stored between mattresses and other boxes.



When delivered, we have found our 85" TV is broken along with two chairs. And despite our notifying them, Hornicks have taken no responsibility for the poor workmanship and have walked away leaving us out of pocket.

WORST FURNITURE REMOVALS EXPERIENCE EVER WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH HORNICKS FURNITURE REMOVALS MACKAY ABSOLUTE. DISGRACE AND DEFINITELY CANT LET THIS HAPPEN TO ANOTHER FAMILY



No respect whatsoever for customers furniture and personal belongings. Hornicks will do absolutely anything in there power to avoid owning responsibility for damages that they caused even refused to repair or replace a single thing and now will not respond reply to any communication. Staff members are extremely rude and most definitely highly inexperienced in performing a removal service to a so called high standard that they claim. We had four members of there staff turn up on our uplift day with two trucks within 5 mins of arriving there so called highly experienced driver with 10+ years driving experience and 10+ years as expert loader had reversed the truck into our house causing extensive damage to our roof and guttering and cracked the wall of house and then aggressively denied any involvement in it and had the audacity to then advise me that the damages looked 12 months old and was very unhappy and shocked that we questioned his years of driving experience. During the course of the day 2 ofthe staff members older gentlemen had made 2 adult females and a 17 yr old girl that uncomfortable and extremely creeped out they were forced to leave the house due to concerns for there safety. We contacted the office and got the rudest receptionist who refused to take complaint seriously and advised that there is not a chance this would have occurred as the staff members are of high standards. The business owners would not return the numerous attempts to report or even have the respect to call or acknowledge the severity of the situation. I have recently discovered that this situation is a frequent complaint made about staff members from Hornicks. I would also like to advise that hornicks furniture Removals is also conducting jobs for other well known Australian wide furniture Removal companies who have Australian Government contracts. I would highly recommend not to have any dealings or having any business associated with them doing your removal or most of all being inside your house. Absolute disgrace and a huge let down to the furniture Removal industry.
