This company is a joke. They’ll take your money, do nothing, and then avoid your phone calls.

Michael Cullen is a known scammer. Not a good person to do business with. The positive reviews here read like they were written by the business. Not to be trusted.

Alternator failed whilst driving home one afternoon, alternator was only one year old installed by R&G. Racq diagnosed it as an alternator issue with a simple test. Had it towed to R&G, 3 days later after daily phone calls, as we were left without a vehicle they said it was ready for pick up, they assured me it was only a flat battery, I argued with them that it was the Alternator they made a point that RACQ were untrustworthy with their diagnostics. We picked it up only to be stranded on the side of the road several days later. Had it towed back to R&G, they kept the car for 4 days, replaced the Alternator. Not even a week later and we have issues again. I found them to be vague, unhelpful, show a lack of urgency and incompetent. The inconvenience has been extremely costly and now we are in a position where we are without a vehicle and unsure weather to send it back to them to fix their stuff ups or pay someone else. They fixed my car yesterday and was happy with the quality of service I received. Reasonably priced highly recommended. The technician is friendly and took the time to elaborate as i have lots questions and he was still very accommodating.

If you are in Mackay and have electrical or air conditioning issue with your car, R & G Auto Electrics is the best option as they have very good auto electrician and reasonably priced.
