Not great

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with New View Psychology. Despite multiple attempts to engage with them professionally, the organisation has shown a consistent lack of respect for basic privacy principles and transparency.

We have experienced ongoing issues with NVP’s failure to adhere to privacy obligations, including withholding personal information without valid justification. This is not only unethical but potentially unlawful. Our concerns have escalated to the point that a formal complaint has been lodged with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

What’s even more troubling is their refusal to engage transparently—emails are often unsigned, and communication feels deliberately evasive. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, particularly for an organisation that deals with sensitive personal and psychological information.

We are fully aware of our legal rights and are prepared to pursue this matter in court if necessary. It’s disappointing that a provider in the mental health space would conduct themselves in such a way.

I would strongly encourage others to consider these concerns carefully before engaging NVP’s services.

Unorganised and disinterested

Please don't trust something as important as your marriage/mental health in these people's hands. I had to remind a therapist several times to send me exercises she promised. After finally canceling an appointment based on that fact, she still never sent anything. It had been over 2 months at this point. I called 5 times at the head office to state that I wanted the exercises seeing as I paid for them, only to be constantly told that no-one had left a message or knew what I was talking about. I spoke to the manager 10 days ago and still no callback explaining where they are. The appointments are back-to-back so the therapists don't read their notes prior to your arrival. Meaning they're hoping you will direct the session. Absolute waste of money going to therapy where the psychologist has no plan in place for you.
