We purchased a property through Dion Verzeletti. Dion provided us various quotes for work that needed to be carried out on the property. These were sent to us with the contract of sale and Dion encouraged us to increase our bid on the property in light of the minimal amount it would take to rectify these issues. One of these quotes was for the replacement of a structural retaining wall. We verified with Dion that the contractor he’d forwarded us the quote from was reliable. Dion confirmed he was. We used this contractor and it soon became obvious the contractor had no idea what he was doing. His work caused tens of thousands worth of damage to our property. We reported the incident to the Building Commission. Turns out Dion had provided us a quote from a painter/decorator to replace a retaining wall that required an engineers input. COMPLETELY FALSE AND MISLEADING CONDUCT DESIGNED TO INDUCE US TO BUY THE PROPERTY AT A HIGHER PRICE. Dion and Charles Caravousanos have now wiped their hands of the matter and have said it’s not their problem. We are now going through legal channels.
