I'm so shocked by the experience.



I've pre-hired some items and spent around $300-400. And left a 50% deposit. I've had some complications regarding the day due to weather so I've spoke to the owner and call and he hung up on me multiple times. So I was concerned. I've got my husband to call on a private number and he answered, My husband asked was this ”Stuart”. Stuart then responded being unprofessional and aggressive ”Nah!” And hung up.



Wouldn't refund me (understandable) and spoke to me with aggressive tone and rude.



Made a horrible comment about my event daye. Just seriously the whole experience made me cry and stress about my event.



Racial issues and unprofessional.



Please. I recommend looking for genuine people who really are customer based.

DON'T GO WITH THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SPECIAL EVENT!!! What a waste of money. I began placing an order with the Penrith Wine Barrel Co around 2.5 months before my wedding, paying in full $1500 one month prior to the wedding. Firstly the owner talks your ear off suggesting what you could hire and what he could get in, spends half the time complaining about his poor staffing, and the rest of the time acting foggy. I spent many hours organising this decoration hire from him, building my hopes up, trusting him to source what he didn't have. I even gave him exact measurements and pictures of the type of cake stands I wanted. This cupcake stand was actually so important to me and was integral to my decorations. I have never been so disappointed in a company before. THEY RUINED MY WEDDING FOR ME. I paid them to deliver at 3:30pm the day before the wedding, they didn't show up, after calling the owner, I just got excuses and he promised to deliver by 11 am the next day (4.5 hours before the wedding) and place the decorations if I told him where to place them. I sent a detailed sms and diagram and stressed about it the whole night. They delivered most things by 11 am, didn't deliver some at all and some things I got I didn't even order. There were no cake / cupcake stands, so to me the cake table looked terrible. They only placed a few of the decorations, meaning in the half hour before the wedding my GROOM and GROOMSMEN were rolling around wine barrels and decorations. Unacceptable! Plus, they came in with a few more things in a ute at 4pm, following closely behind my HORSE & CARRIAGE. as I entered the wedding at 4pm. How dare they do that, ruining my photos, when they knew the wedding was 3:30pm and the guests were all there. WORST decision ever going with this company, they made me the most stressed I have ever been, I was crying half an hour before my ceremony, and was unable to enjoy my own wedding. Do yourself a favour and don't even consider them. I wish I hadn't.

Had a very poor experience with the company. Tried to get money back due to fiancee being diagnosed with cancer. Was threatened with solicitors and not listened to.
