Worst tax agents in Australia. Customer service is the worst I've ever had - in terms of replying to emails or giving honest answers on the phone. They ignored me for 3 months. Tax return has taken 3 months and they held my tax returns in their account for no valid reason - this doesn't deserve the fee I paid, the time I gave or the stress called.

Pathetic. They hold onto your refund and delay the release of funds. Lazy and Dodgy. Go elsewhere!!

Dont use quicktax if you want to recieve your return. Lodged my return with them over a month and half ago and after calling the ATO found out the money has been sitting in QuickTax's account for over 3 weeks. Everytime I have called Quicktax to send me my return they lie and give me the old "the money has been tranferred to your account". That was last week and after many phone calls I still have not recieved a cent! Moral of the story.....AVOID QuickTax at all costs, they are either hugely incompetant or a bunch of con-artists

Hassle free and super helpful staff who really helped me out of a tight spot, and all via email and over the phone!

My daughter was in ICU and my funds got wiped out fast. Quick Tax Accountants deposited money from my forthcoming tax refund directly into my account on two separate occasions and they were extremely nice about it. Even their surcharge is reasonable.

I followed up on my tax refund when 14 days had transpired (on the Monday) and was informed it would be in my bank account Wednesday afternoon. As of 3:45am Thursday morning, still not in, but was there just after 9am today. It looks like the refund is paid by cheque? Or if EFT, something has gone horribly wrong.

Follow up.

Go down to bank and I'm informed it's going to take three working days to clear.

I'm giving three stars because while I was really taken care of up until the kind of curt email I received on Tuesday (might have been busy. I get it), but it's like now they have their money, I'm the girl wondering if she just made a big mistake and they didn't really love me.

They get the funds straight into their account, seeing as the ATO requires bank account numbers as of July 1 2014, so how come they then issue cheques into bank accounts when it's just as easy to do it EFT?

For next year, I suggest they put that information somewhere prominent, as being previously in the business, I just assumed they paid it electronically because that's what we did, and what was wrong with depositing a cash cheque at the bank, seeing as that was done the other two times.

Silly me.
