bad workmanship and the boss is so rude. wish I had never given them my business, but I got what I paid for. terrible service from start to unfinished, couldn't recommend this company to anyone. never call you back and not interested in coming back to do final adjustments, owner say's he's to busy and he's not going to drop everything to come and do such a small series of fixes, just to busy, and he told me by law he has up to a year to address the problems. such an arrogant man with no customer service skills what so ever. sorry one of the worst experiences I have had with so called tradies.

TLDR – I had a very poor experience with Fraser Coast Kitchens. Don't make my mistake relying verbal communication. Get everything in writing.



I got a quote to install a dishwasher (bought prior). The quote had standard text on it saying plumbing & electrical not included. I had requested a quote for the entire job and it seemed very expensive ($585 plus gst) for such a small job so I called to check. I was reassured the quote was for complete job so went ahead and paid the $300 deposit (figuring they needed this to engage plumber & electrician).



No further contact for 3 months. Finally turned up unannounced at 8am on Sat morning after I requested my deposit back. 2 hrs later as he was finishing up, the tenant asked when the power point and plumbing would be done and was told she would be called on Monday.



Peter now denies discussing plumbing and electrical. I've been told I should have read the fine print and payment demanded with recovery action threatened. I did read the quote… the mistake I made was accepting a verbal assurance. I don’t see how anyone could accept that the price quoted would cover basically cutting a hole in an existing cabinet and installing a little skirting board. Without the electrical and plumbing, it was a 2 hour job with minimal materials involved.



I got someone else to finish the job and they were surprised at my experience. In their view they would have quoted just over $500 for a job that size including electrical and plumbing. I will have nothing further to do with Fraser Coast Kitchens Pty Ltd and would advise others to look elsewhere.
