I had the worst experience with Fraser Coast ford/Fraser Coast motor centre. I took my car in for a minor oil leak from the rear cam seal under warranty. That little issue turned into a 6mth nightmare. It seemed like for every tiny issue my Everest had the mechanics created 6 or so new issues due to their lack of care. After a few days in the workshop for the oil leak I pick up my car (always ready for pickup right on closing time):the receptionist says they'll email me the invoice with what work was carried out under warranty, yeah that never happened all the way through this nightmare even after 6 months of asking each time I was there. I drove my car to the shops and I popped the bonnet for a quick look while my wife got us a feed. Straight away I noticed a broken dip stick, low coolant, hoses not clipped back into their holders and the shield on the firewall not mounted right, the bonnet and guards had greasy fingerprints all over them. As Ford is now closed I drive home when suddenly the car breaks down with an injector leaking diesel all over the motor. Get car towed home. Car gets towed back to Ford. Car is fixed ready for pickup near closing time. My wife picking up the car has a quick look and find the sump guard loose missing a bolt. She drives the car to work the next day and another breakdown with an injector spraying diesel all over the engine bay again. Gets towed back to Ford. A couple of days later we pick up the car ready at closing time. Back at the shops I look over the car thoroughly and I notice the air vent is snapped, my sunroof won't close and my rocker cover has been ripped in half. Radiator hoses not mounted and flopping around. So back it goes again. The car runs for about a week and we go to drive to the Gold Coast, 90km in boom breakdown injector leaks. Tow it home as its late. It gets towed to Ford the next morning and I demand they go over all the injectors properly. Days pass and they tell me they have to order a replacement head as they snapped injector bolts and can't get them out. A month or so later they pull the old head off and advise me that I now need a replacement engine as something has melted into the piston and scratched the bore (what did they drop into the chamber i wonder) coming up to nearly 6mths the new motor is in. I pick up the car expecting it to be perfect. I get 2km up the road we hear a rubbing metal sound and head straight back to Fraser Coast Ford. Service manager has a look and says its a heat shield...yeah not at the front of the motor buddy. I look and see a heap of oil leaking from near the turbos. I go to grab my belongings out of the car I see some huge indents in the leather in the rear seats which are new, paint has been stripped off bonnet bolts and prone to rust. scratches on the bonnet, guards, my new raptor grille scratched. Dents in the guards and bonnet. When all this is sorted I go to pick up my car and notice various items like wireless android auto box, brand new usb cable, tpms programing tool, scan tool cable etc are missing to the value of just under $400. Seriously stay clear ( I have left out a lot as this review is long enough already)
