If you are looking for a Vet in the Brisbane area I would highly recommend Dr. Starry Allen's Veterinary Surgery in Pinjarra Hills. I have been taking my cats and dogs to Dr.Allen for 20 years, I still travel to Pinjarra Hills, even though I moved to the Gold Coast some 10 years ago. Dr.Allen has always looked after our pets with the utmost care and dedication, I know at times she will spend the whole night on watch to ensure our pets wellbeing. I would find it hard to entrust my pets with anyone else, as I know they are in the best and capable hands available. I recommend Dr.Allen for your loved ones too.

Dr Starry Allen is our family vet for over 25 years. That is a lot of vaccinations, desexing, skin issues, cancer treatment, kidney problems, tick treatment, dog bites, lifesaving surgeries, dental work, old age care and after hour call outs (with lots of advice on kitty care, puppy training, behavior issues and nutrition thrown in for good measure). She is calm and confident in any situation. Not once did we feel the need for a second opinion. We know our animals receive the best possible care, always.

We have been going to Starry Allen at Kenmore Vet Surgery since 1999 - She has seen us successfully through brown snake bite, ticks (x2 - cat and dog), pancreatitis, old age issues for dogs, puppy issues with dogs and most recently (yesterday) severe heat stress of a little staffy shelter dog we have adopted to go with our other two - without Starry's "Keep her cool and come in NOW" timely intervention (yet again on a sunday afternoon!) we would have lost the little girl as we were somewhat unfamiliar with staffy issues of over-exuberance until they drop (literally) and the heat transfer problem they can have as a result of short snout and long soft palate. Good advice, clear treatment and excellent follow-up.

Its comforting to find a vet that knows their stuff, competitive pricing yet still places the animals well being #1 rather than just another dollar figure.

We had a cat bitten by a brown snake on a public holiday and tried several vet surgeries before we found Kenmore vet surgery. They offer a 24 hour emergency service and Dr Allen came out and saved little angel 's life. She stayed up with her all night. We couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you very much Dr Allen
