How much cooler should it be in my home than outside?
An evaporative cooling system usually gets the temperature between 6-13 degrees below the temperature outside (when it is hot of course) depending on the humidity level.

What do you want to heat or cool?
If you think of your home as different zones - living areas, kitchen, and bedrooms - you can decide which areas need heating at which times. For example, a reverse cycle split system is great for heating one zone, such as the kitchen and living area, perfect for when you get home in the evening and want to get dinner on. However, if you’d like to heat all zones in your home, but want to be able to do that at different times of the day, then we recommend gas ducted heating.

How to efficiently use heaters or air conditioner?
When choosing the right heater or air conditioner for your home, we recommend you always check the efficiency rating. By spending a little extra, you can save much more in the long run. As we’ve already learned, zoning your home is super-efficient; however, you should also choose a product with a minimum energy rating of four stars or more. Setting the thermostat to come on at certain times of the day or early in the morning is also the best way to ensure your heater isn’t running for too long.

We had Lachlan come down take a look at our thermostat as our cooling system has been down for a while. After many technicians from other companies had failed to fix it, Lachlan was able to get it up and running basically on the spot just in time for the peak of summer! He provided friendly communication and answers to any queries we had. Great communication from the reception as well! We received nothing but great service.

Aiden called ahead of time to say he was 20 minutes out and arrived on time. He got to work quickly, serviced our evap cooler, checked for any issues and found none. He was really friendly and indulged our questions and conversation. Neighbour saw his van in the driveway and asked about the service & cost. I shared and recommended Plumb to him.
