Port Douglas Yacht Club

This place is a little hidden gem!
Any tourist whos been to Port Douglas would know that whilst there are plenty of great places to eat, most of them are on the pricey side. In comes the Yacht Club A locals secret, and well worth a look!

Its a low-key establishment, with the restaurant sporting a massive balcony that looks out over the inlet. Serving pub-style food at reasonable prices, we had a lovely afternoon sitting outside, drinking some bevvies, watching the tour boats sail by with the setting sun completing a perfect backdrop.
Strictly speaking this is a members club (on the spot one-off guest membership available at no cost), so just make sure you respect the local members while youre there, and settle in to enjoy a nice meal.
