Thank you to Josh for doing a wonderful job of pressure cleaning our rather large driveway. I found him kind, pleasant, happy to accommodate any of our requests. Would ask him to do any work for us again in the future if needed. Thank you Josh!

After speaking Josh I was very convinced that he would do a good job and he was doing good work,

He completed the job and in less than 3 months the paint was chipping and flaking from the driveway, the non-slip coating was completely gone.

I contacted Josh in hope he would fix this under the warranty that he offered with the work in writing on the invoice, after more than six months of chasing him and trying to get the job fixed with numerous reschedules and no shows the driveway is still unfinished and I am having to source another company to fix the driveway.

he made excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't complete the work blaming the paint manufacturer, the previous paint on the driveway, tire shine etc

not once did he acknowledge that maybe he didn't prepare the surface or use the correct paint or technique to complete the job correctly

disappointing as I was hoping to offer a small business work in hopes of supporting the local guy

Paid $1000 deposit for our gutters to be painted in September/ October. It's now mid- December and despite many ( many) texts, emails and phone messages all I have is I'll refund the deposit....still waiting Josh!

Took a deposit from me , made multiple excuses as to why he didnt turn up. Finally did turn up and proceded to high pressure the roof and water leaked into the roof and damaged the house. Excuse after excuse as to why he couldnt complete and I gave up and used another tradesman as my roof was compromised and leaking. Said goodbye to the $2000 paid

Worked under Geoff Halls license, his father's. Do your research. He's being run out of town, I'm sorry for the next town.

Took 50% deposit but never finished work & did a poor job on what was done.

Mr Hall demanded thousands as an up-front deposit for materials and then, after a half-completed roof clean, did not finish the job. The other one-star reviews are spot on. We asked for references and he never gave any. He washed the roof but said it needed further cleaning to get rid of mould and stubborn dirt. The roof started leaking after he had cleaned it. Then that was the last we saw of him. Despite numerous emails, messages, texts... no more work. Mr Hall would promise to come and do more, make firm dates, but he never showed up again. He never replaced broken tiles, as mentioned in his quote. He never completed repairs, as promised. When we contacted him, we got a range of excuses. He had the gall to say that our job was a priority but he never showed up again. He complained about the weather, when it was sunny. When we told Mr Hall we were fed up and wanted our deposit back, he told us that he had our paint in his shed - but the national manufacturer and local distributor both confirmed they had not supplied the specific paint to anyone in the area. Next step, NCAT. AVOID HIM! Mr Hall does not hold a current NSW trade licence.

Ran off with thousands in deposit without completing promised roof repairs - even after 5 months. Took off emergency tarp over leaking sections of roof & did not replace, refused to replace when storm rolled in & roof started leaking again - I had to call SES to replace new tarp. Josh kept saying ‘roof watertight’ when leaks were worse than before with new structural damage. Did not turn up on multiple dates he promised despite fine weather conditions. Ended up being complete nightmare to deal with. Sends me taunting text message “Good luck getting it [your roof] fixed”. Never answered phone again after getting $$ Unfortunately the negative reviews and bad reputations all turned out to be true in my dealings with him and his business. Feel free to do the right thing Josh and return the deposit.

Avoid this trader like the plague. He demanded a large deposit and then NEVER FINISHED THE JOB. Looking back, a couple of red flags: he never gave us references; he demanded almost 50% up front for materials; the local paint supplier said we “have to keep at him or he won’t show up”. He washed the roof but said it wasn’t finished (a roof leak started after the clean). That was it. Numerous dates were set, but he never showed up again. He never replaced broken tiles, as promised. He never completed repairs, as promised. We had to contact him, only to get a range of excuses. When pressed, he told us that we were a priority but he never showed up again. When we told the trader we were fed up and wanted our deposit back, he told us that he had our paint in his shed - but the national manufacturer and distributor confirmed they had not supplied the specific paint to anyone in the area.

Avoid like the plague. Work was meant to be completed in October 2021: 4 months later the roof is still not painted. Very unprofessional, constant excuses why he didn't turn up when he said or promised he would when he does bother to return communication. I've now been forced to refer the matter to Fair Trading twice to attempt to resolve the issue but have finally given up and selected a more professional tradesperson. Will be pursuing this further as I have been massively inconvenienced and left out of pocket.
