Great result measured against scans and i can move

This practice was recommended to me and Im glad I went. I can now turn my neck and check for traffic on my motorbike - fairly important riding in traffic! Paddling again, very happy.

Exremely professional and monitoring results is important to me, its critical to determining success of any rrearment.

I'm definitely not glad I went here. My personal experience was a disaster.

The Review Guidelines for Yellow Pages clearly state that you are not allowed to discuss any injuries caused by a business in their reviews section so unfortunately, I cannot talk about it or the 11 mths (& counting) of my life lost so far. This is not a malicious review and is based on my own experience.

So physically my personal experience was this:

You check yourself in on an ipad at the front door and your password is your birthday. You get no opportunity to change this and it applies to everyone. Super easy for a hacker to attach a key (easily acquired on Ebay and Amazon) and track inputs. Would not trust cyber security here based on these fundamental issues alone.

Your personal details and health history are displayed on a monitor at the end of the treatment table and can be seen by other patients - usually located 1-2m on either side of you in the open plan, multi table room (fear not, you can also see all their details and health history. It's very sharey here) - located only 4-6m from the main entry and waiting area also part of the open plan. There is no privacy here.

The business premise is to, regardless of why you are attending, do a standard spiel on locking patients into a 12mth postural correction plan that involves many (from memory 3 visits/week for first few weeks then usually weekly) visits at around $95/visit when I went.

I was extremely uncomfortable with the hard sell to lock in for 12mths. I did not get a clear answer on whether there were any fees if you agree to the 12 mth plan but do not continue (for any reason personal or not getting results) so I would recommend clarifying that. I advised I wish to go session by session and do a trial first.

I went for a minor neck niggle after painting some ceilings. I specifically mentioned some other health issues prior and requested that we go very gently and see how my body reacts, to which I received the most 'vigorous' neck adjustment I have ever had and found myself wishing I had never gone here. Was brushed off when I mentioned how 'unusual' I found the adjustment and how it felt. I have been going to chiro very regularly for 6years and this was a very novel experience. I ended up having to travel to Sydney to see my regular chiro to try get some relief. Unfortunately he could not work on my neck.

I initially quickly checked the reviews on social media before attending Summerland and now I wish I had had a closer look. They come in batches and they seemed very excessive and extremely scripted. A little sluthing later - hindsight right? I'd love to hear from some of those people 6-12mths down the track to see how the statistics roll on client outcomes (as long as they are not family, friends or sponsored clubs). I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies based on the lack of privacy and security and also because I felt wayyyy better before going there (but I can't discuss this here - rules and guidelines).

Really hurt by chiro here. 10 mths & counting, still barely able to function. Went for minor niggle

You check yourself in on an ipad at the front door and your password is your birthday. Super easy for a hacker to attach a key and track inputs. Would not trust cyber security here anyway on a hunch.

The business premise is to lock patients into a 12mth postural correction plan that involves many (from memory 3 visits/week for first few weeks then usually weekly) visits. Not sure on the legitimacy of this without including ergo-dynamic assessments to change daily habits and also a specific exercise program to help correct muscle movement and stabilise ligaments and tendons but..... I did a lot of research with not much luck. It seems to be a very distinct business model that is more profit focused than health results focused. But it is a guaranteed income model, unless a patient is injured or pulls out as not getting benefits. I was not made aware if there were any fees if you do not continue so worth asking first.

I was went for a minor neck niggle after painting some ceilings. I specifically mentioned some other health issues prior and requested that we go very gently and see how my body reacts, to which I received the most violent neck adjustment I have ever had with instant pain. Was brushed off when I said about it at the time. I have been going to chiro very regularly for 6years so not new to this and knew that things were not right and I was in trouble. I ended up having to travel to Sydney to see my regular chiro who was absolutely livid about the whole set up. The damage was so severe that he would not work on my neck. Thanks Dr Brendan.

Because of my pre existing health issues I played the waiting game thinking that it might just be me, but since then, I have spoken to too many people who have also been significantly injured attending here and now I am just wanting no one else to go through this. I understand that things can go wrong with Chiro but also know that there is an obligation to work with any patients who may have been injured in the process - not denial, lack of empathy and more concern for cashflow than the patient.

I initially quickly checked the reviews before attending and now I wish I had had a closer look. They come in batches and they seemed very excessive and extremely scripted. So I checked other posts by the same people and they were extremely different - far less words, totally different grammatical style and many had only ever given stars and no comments let alone wax lyrical like the Summerland Reviews. Seemed very suss looking back. I'd love to hear from some of those people 6-12mths down the track to see how the statistics roll on client outcomes (as long as they are not family, friends or sponsored clubs who need to protect their sponsorship income).

I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies.
