Caravans Plus

I have made several purchases from Caravan Plus and have always been happy with the fast shipping. I decided to purchase a Dometic 3 way fridge from them.



The fridge arrived, but unfortunately, it was faulty - it failed to work when connected to both 12V or 240V power - it wouldn't turn on at all.



Caravan Plus's website policy indicates that if an item is delivered faulty, I may elect to have it replaced or refunded. I therefore contacted Caravan Plus to request a refund, and details of how to return the fridge, however, Caravan Plus would not provide this.



Their position is that they shipped the right item to me, and no physical damage is apparent, so they directed us to claim it under Dometic's Warranty Department. I have tried to call the number they provided for the Dometic Warranty, but it goes straight to message bank.



I tried to contact Caravan Plus again about this, but they stopped responding by email, and they don't accept phone calls.



We purchased this product brand new, and we expected it to work accordingly. It's not a warranty issue at all; It's brand new out of the box and it doesn't work.



We are now $1,168.95 (+ shipping!) out of pocket and are stuck with a broken fridge that doesn't work!
