I purchased a home in Oct 2016, the home was built by Kalka in Jul 2016, as a result it was still covered by warranty and 12 month maintenance period.

There were 15 defects flashing lights, water hammer noise, leaky shower. We contacted Kalka in Dec 2016. Their response was appalling the dragged their heels all with the aim of protecting their margin.

We are now 4 - 5 months on and there are still unresolved issues at one stage one of the 4 account managers we went through said the flashing lights were not his problem - after 5 months of watching my kitchen light flash i had had enough, i have stopped chasing them and now spend time sharing my experience on line and also getting my warranty claim ready for Aug 2017 they will feel the impact of poor quality work and customer service when their insurance premium goes up
