The Local Service

Called these guys at 7am this morning and booked for someone to call out and have a look at a hot water system, i was told between 10-11am which was fine. Received a phone call to say they were going to be delayed due to another job.
Plumber came out had a look said it was a thermostat, relief valve and element. Came back with a fixed quote of $786 including gst. I was told most of it was parts, funny enough after i called Reece they gave me the total price of $186. The plumber was here for probably all but an hour after questioning him about the price he said it was all fixed.
He spoke with his boss and told him i wasnt happy, and took $100 off.
After that i called a few more plumbers and the price i got back was $320+GST supplied and fitted, do jot call these guys for anything.

Receptionist doesn't seem to understand anything you say and is quick to answer no about everything even call out price - answer is no.

Do NOT use them, you have been warned!!

They didnt finished the job in one visit and every time they come back, there is a new plumber (four of them in total). In addition, every time they came back, a new problem was found and voila, a new fixed quote.

In relation to their fixed quote, one of them gave us a fixed quote for the shower tab then promised to come back because materials had to be ordered. Then we found out that he forgot to seal the sink hole cover. The next guy came, could not fix it and gave us a new fixed quote. When we disputed about the fixing nature of their quotes, he simply said he was not the one who quoted it!!! You lot are all from the same company, LOL. He also failed to seal the sink hole cover before he left and forgot to turn the hot water back on.

One of them also found a leaked tab that need to be fixed and I told him that it cannot be possible because the tab were not used for months and was never leaked. Guess what, just turn the knobs a bit back and the leak stopped.

They are lazy, untrustworthy and expensive type of plumbers. By the way, they have a few trading names and websites. If you see their ABN (86 604 801 658), stay away!

The price is high and was charged $39 cof whitout noticing me when I made the booking.

Terrible customer service. Never show up on schedule time. They do offer 10% senior discount but prices still seem way above market rate. They claim to use licensed plumbers but some works are done by apparentice unsupervised. I had a brand new shower taps supplied and installed by them on 3 Dec 2015. It was not installed properly on first day and need re-fix on second day. Plumber was only forcing to make right instead of installing it in a proper way on second day. Ended up made the brand new taps tiny dent and scratches everywhere around. This is really frustrating...

Absolutely terrible customer service, the plumbers that came out to the property were respectful , however customer service representative has some serious customer service issues. I would not recommend this company for any work as they charge exorbitant prices.

What is the point of having a smiling plumber if they are charging you 3 times the price in the market.

I am surprised to see all these reviews that are positive about the business, I may have just been the unlucky one.

I called at 7pm and the Local Service had someone round at my place at 6:30am the next day. They squeezed me in so that I wouldn't be late for work and it wasn't even an emergency plumbing situation - purely cosmetic. Anthony was a super friendly guy and wasn't even deterred by the shocking parking situation around my place in Surry Hills. This was on Aug 5th 2015.

Unfortunately the prices are very steep - likely due to the lack of call out fee. I also then asked Anthony for a quote to install a water filter tap. He never replied so I followed up later to ask again. He was then very friendly and told me that he would let me know a quote within a day. I followed up twice over the next week and again had no response. I ended up finding a much cheaper local plumber who came over and installed the filter tap I needed for a great price. I guess the lack of response was really a blessing in disguise.

I had an emergency at 6pm and called the local service to come stop my burst pipe! They came within half an hour and settled for a great price. If theres emergency problems I suggest you call these guys!!

Local Service plumbing were terrific! Needed an emergency plumber. Came out on the same day, reasonably priced, top service! Thanks guys, would strongly recommend their workmanship

They were extremely quick to come out and were really kind. I give their service an 9/10. I would always recommend this company for any plumbing work that needs to be done.
