Dream Drives Melbourne

I hired the Lamborghini for my birthday last year the security deposit has not been returned yet according to the records from my lawyer the company owes $942,388 to the customers bond

This is my second review on this business because they told me if i do not take out my first one they won't give back my deposit.
we rented the car with cash deposit of AUD 7,000 in december 2016 - for a month they never replied to me till i reviewed them on tripadvisor.

after this they sent 3 checks:
1. First check - sent it to Jakarta, Malaysia instead of Indonesia
(after the first check i told them to just transfer the money to an australian account they said they can't do it because the bond release is under a different name)
2. Second Check - no middle name so i cant redeem it
3. Third check - bounced back after we paid for 43 AUD to redeem the check

i got an australian lawyer and my lawyer sent them a notification letter to send the money to an australian account, as well as reported them to consumer affair in Victoria.

THEN THEY FINALLY SENT THE MONEY AFTER 4 MONTHS OF going back and forth.

for anyone out there who wants their deposit money back - you should file a report to consumer affair victoria, fill in the report, they will get back to you in about 48 hours and call them up. (do fill in the report)

these guys should go out of business, it's a scam.

It might be fun but it'll cost you a pretty penny when they constantly promise to return the $10K bond and don't. Car was returned in immaculate condition. They lie about speeding fines and stop taking calls. They promise to return the money when sent demands from solicitors but still nothing. Its been 6 months. Think very carefully before hiring a car from Drem Drives. Be warned!

The service on hire was great, unfortunetely its let down with the return of deposite, after 4 weeks countless phone calls with them giving me the run around and emails un answered I finally had some friends confront them in the shop WOW recieved my first email from them aledging I have some type of infringement. Unfortunetelly they couldnt back this up with any evedance and told me "I had to prove I didnt."

I still havnt recieved my deposite back and would like to let everybody know that the 7 to 10 working days to refund it is a lie.

I cant believe a company with such a great product and facade can be so slimy and dishonest!

And it looks like im not the only one to discover these frauds

Great Experience from start to finish, we hired the Range Rover Sports for a weekend away in Lorne last month with the family. Great and comfortable drive up. Thank you for the bonus Kms as well. Saved us a few hundred dollars. Kids loved the car so much they are nagging us to buy one. Bond process went smooth and even got a bonus gift voucher to use next time.
