The semi covered beer garden out he back is the place for me to go when ever I visit the london tavern.

The food is very good (admitedly if the chips are crisp I am unforgiving of much else). Beers can be purcased in pints and this is the best option as the bar can get busy at times.

The beer garden out the back as long benches for a group to sit or mingle aound and a TV to show the latest sports. Beer selection is reasonable if not the best around but enough selection to satisfy most punters

The London (as its affectionately known) is a particular favourite during the football season. There is a large beer garden with a big screen. Inside there is a front bar area and another dining area room. Food is good with pub favourites and other dishes too. Even though it can get busy the kitchen never takes too long to bring out the food. Great place for a group.

The London Tavern is a beautiful old brick pub in the backstreets of Richmond that hides a secret - a giant beer garden. The pub area itself inside is a bit cramped and wrapped around the bars, but out the back is where you'll want to be anyway.

The beer garden has dozens of benches and a retractable roof to keep you dry and warm if the weather turns nasty. It's also a great venue to watch the footy, with several large screens showing all the matches.
