Swan Hotel

Large pub with lots of open space.

A reasonable selection of beers and it does not get too crowded, even on a saturday night.

Having said that it is a bit souless and lacks the character of other pubs in richmond. a good place to start a night but not one to stay at the entire time.

The Swan is pretty much a last resort on this strip. A large soulless pub jam packed with people who've had a few too many drinks screeching along to top 40 or a cover band.

Do yourself a favour and wander down Swan St to one of the many other bars on offer instead.

The swan hotel gets really busy in the weekends. It's a large pub, and satisfies the late night, beer drinking crowd. Cover bands often play on Friday nights to keep the crowd dancing. They also do basic pub food lunches and dinners. During the week they have special week day events like the trivia night.
