Dropped my working phone off to have the screen replaced. When they accepted the phone, they turned it on in front of me to see if it all works. All was fine, received my ticket and been told to collect my phone in an hour time. Half an hour later, received a call from the shop that my phone broke and it does not turn on after it was already turned on when I left it there. Returned to the shop to see what happened, the phone wasn't turning on anymore. After asking them to look at it what happened with it, they told me that they will have a look at it tomorrow and will call me back. Have not received any call back, called them up to get an update on the repair status and that is when they told me that they haven't even looked at it and they will get back to me in 2 days time. Upon questioning them what is going on, they advised me that it is better if I take my phone somewhere else as they will not repair it. Horrible customer service, not helpful at all, wasn't even trying to assist. Ended up with getting back my phone which isn't turning on anymore...

Took my phone in back in August.. have had to take it back 4 times since then because the screen does not work properly! Apps will open by themselves at random, leaving the phone unusable for a short while. It has taken them nearly 6 months and they still can't get it right! They blame the parts supplier.. Don't waste your time here.

Absolutely horrendous service. Dropped my phone in to get the screen replaced, paid the steep price in comparison to other shops as it was close to home. Screen broke again from putting it in the case purchased from the store. When I took it in, the staff were rude and told me I had "clearly dropped the phone and done damage to it", then told me to "go contact consumer affairs then". Very disappointed that I wasted $219 to end up with a broken screen again within a week through no fault of my own.

My kids decided that it was a good idea to throw my phone to each other across the room over a tile floor. Unfortunately they don't catch well, and my phone screen shattered. A friend of mine had used VG Phone Repair Specialists and had their screen fixed well for a good price, so I sent them my phone. They did a great job! It looks and works great now, and I really appreaciate it. Thanks!

Just had another mishap with my IPhone. The screen wasn't working at all after it accidentally fell off the kitchen counter. Anyway, Brandon fixed my phones in less than an hour! This place is the BEST!!!

I will go here to get my phone fixed any time. The turnaround is pretty quick and they honest about charges and what's really feasible to work on. e.g. my son's iTouch was badly dented, so they let me know the new glass might not fit into the frame well, making it more likely to get damaged... we opted out of repair in that case.

Also, my daughter had some water damage on the iPhone and they have a drying service for a flat fee with no guarantees of course... her phone was completely restored except for the camera lens that takes selfless LOL.

Shoddy workmanship, fail to keep agreements and poor customer relations.

In April 2014 I sent my Xperia Z Ultra to VG phones with a cracked screen. They returned the phone 1 week later with a replacement screen, but the front camera no longer worked nor did the proximity sensor. I sent it back to them. After 1 week I called to determine what the delay was and was advised that there were delays in getting parts. I am a patient man. I got the same response each month when I called. In Sep 2014 I expressed my disappointment and was offered a new replacement phone for an additional cost of $200. I declined this offer and demanded my phone back in working order. In mid Nov 14 (6 months later) they advised that they could not source the parts needed and offered me a full refund and return of the phone. I was expecting the phone to be in the same condition as it was when I first presented it to them (original broken screen installed). However, there was additional damage - the back flexed and the side SIM cover was damaged. This was identified by another repairer who would not offer me any guarantee that he could fix the unit.

I returned to VGphone store on 7 Dec 2014 and demanded they repair the phone at the original quoted price. They refused saying they could not get parts. When I asked if they would fix the phone if I get the parts, they agreed. There was no indication of cost and they left me with the impression that the labour would be covered by them in compensation for the trouble and delays they had caused. That day I sourced a screen from Hong Kong and it arrived at VGPhones on 15 Dec.

Now they are demanding a $50 labour charge to install the new screen.

They have made no attempt to compensate for the damage they caused nor the inconvenience and delays they created.

I accidentally dropped my phone while I was working out at the gym and the screen completely cracked. I was pretty bummed since I recently bought the new iPhone and it was already cracked. My phone insurance would not cover the crack so I was running out of options on what to do. One of my friends told me about VG Phones Repair Specialists. I brought my phone in and they were able to repair it for a low price. Once I got my phone back, I couldn't believe how amazing it looked! It looked like it was brand new again. I would recommend this company!

Terrible business!!! Went in to ask about fixing my HTC 8x camera, the guy behind the counter was quite short with me but said I could bring it in the following day around 11am and if it was just a matter of replacing the camera it should be done by 3pm.
Brought it in at 11am the following day and gave him another number to reach me at when it was done. No calls, no messages by 3:30 so I went back in. The same guy found my phone and said it wasn't just the camera so they'd need more time, 2-3 days. I said, "wow, 2-3 days?" in a friendly enough tone and he said yes, the reason being they can't work on just one customer's phone for two straight hours, instead they can spend 20-30 minutes on it per day for 2-3 days...(what?!)
He was very rude again, and clearly had no patience for dealing with customers. He actually turned around and started walking back to the little corner he came out of while I was still talking to him! I took my phone and left to explore other options. Of course by that time everywhere else was closed because they failed to contact me after discovering my problem wasn't a simple fix (which probably took all of 10 minutes!)
I don't think they know what they're doing, I don't think their business practices are legitimate or fair, and I definitely don't think they give a crap about customer service. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

It was my fault that I did not listen to the bad reviews about these people and took my iPhone 5 to Vgphones instead of Apple Store.

My iphone5 was stuck in recovery mode, I took it to VgPhones and was told that it would take them 2-3 days to fix it and they will call me when its ready, 1 week passed-nobody called me, I called them to find out and was told that the Home Button, Power button and 1 IC(integrated circuit) was damaged and might take 1-2 days to fix it and a cost of around $200, which I said was fine. 1 more week passed-nobody called me. I checked again and was told that IC has been ordered and phone will be ready in 2-3 days and they will call me when its ready. 2 weeks passed-nobody called me. I got very upset and asked them to return my phone, they gave my phone back after 1 month of wait. I took it to another place who opened the phone in front of me and found so many parts missing from it. I went back to Vgphones and complained about it, about which they said they have no idea what I am talking about. I really can't understand how these people have the licence to do business. They should be banned.
