After confirming they repair Bosch ovens I arranged for them to come out to fix the touchscreen on our oven. Guy turned up, took one look at the oven without even touching it and says can’t be fixed and need to order new control panel which should be around $400-500 and would let us know when the part was in. Was in my home less than five mins. After not hearing back for 3 weeks I called them only to be told there was (and I quote the lady) a “major balls up” and the part was not available. She said the part was over $1000 anyway (not what the repair guy told us 3 weeks earlier) and recommended I go to Harvey Norman and buy a whole new oven - oh and tell them we sent you.. ?! Anyway: long story short, I looked up the problem on YouTube and all it needed was a recalibration- which I managed to do myself in 5 minutes! And the touchscreen is now working perfectly!!!! ) Don’t waste your time or money on their call out fee.

I wish I had read these reviews as my experience matches exactly to other customers. I got a bad vibe from the technician on his initial visit when he criticized me for having a front loader and it being Samsung (not helpful coming from apparently a Samsung tech). Whipped out his eftpos machine so I paid the callout and said someone would be in contact. I had to follow up several times over a week before getting a call back. The lady on the phone was pleasant but still communication was poor. Finally had a time and day for the install (a month after the call out) and I had to leave work to meet the tech but I arrived 4 minutes after his “about 20 mins” time frame he thought it appropriate to stick a card in the door and leave. No phone call or anything, I could have just been in the backyard and didn’t hear the door. He came back and I said it wasn’t really good enough that he leaves after 4 minutes with again no call or communication and he turned around stormed out of the house and told me to fix it myself. What a disgraceful man! He was intimidating, rude and made me feel very uncomfortable while in my home. If any of my staff treated customers like that they wouldn’t have a job. I will be pursuing the matter further.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Rang to request a spare part for my UK Beko washing machine. Assured it would be no problem and she'd confirm a price. Never rang back. When I contacted her again she said the part had been ordered but would have to get back to me to confirm price and delivery. So she orderd a part without even confirming the price with me??? Never called me back anyway. When I contacted her again, she said she'll call me back in 5 minutes. Now she is not answering my calls. Appalling customer service has now kept me at the Laundromat for weeks.

Prompt initial response re fridge not working, with promises made on the phone. Tech arrived, vacuumed dust off condenser at bottom of fridge, said all would be good. Very quick to take a callout fee. Performed no other testing of any fridge components and proclaimed problem solved. Fridge still did not work and all calls back to company were pointless. Lady on phone continued to make promises, but always failed to call me back. Definitely would NOT recommend you use this firm or their other trading name of Allstar Appliances.

Had a horrible experience with these guys. Lady on the phone was nice enough but never knew what was going on. Technician came and tested the dishwasher in a hurry because I had to leave (which I had advised them of before they booked the appointment) tested the machine, did not find any errors, charged me the call out fee, the machine was never fixed and they stopped returning/answering my calls. I wish I had read reviews in other sites before I called them.

From the phone call to the technician, the service was a let down. Communication needs to be improved and when a customer says URGENT that means at least same day service not sometime in the next 2 days. Dishwasher service did not last and the dishwasher broke again after 10 days. Called again last Thursday and no one has been sent to repair. It is now Monday morning. The communication and the service of this company, who also trades as ALLSTAR APPLIANCE REPAIRS is non existent. Save yourself the hassle and don't bother using them.

Was also told they are LG approved when I called about getting my fridge repaired, so I went with them. Big mistake. Not only did they not fix the problem they came to fix, they created another one and the ice-maker (original problem) has just blown and the fridge is not working at all.
The guy that came to repair looked like he hadn't got a clue what he was doing and two weeks of calling and leaving messages didn't get one answer or call back.
DO NOT USE ABA FRIDGE & WASH SERVICE OR ALL STAR APPLIANCE REPAIRS
Only got one star because you can't leave zero stars

I have found this company very disappointing. They also trade under the business name of All star appliance repairs.
From the day they came out to repair my front loader machine ( still under warranty ) I haven't been able to use it. ( I was able to still use the machine before they came by manually draining ) After they had been and replaced the pump they left without testing, I went ahead to do washing and a new error message started. After calling them and coming back out I was told it has a new problem and the machine can not be used at all. A week has passed and not 1 call back to let me know what is happening. I call several times a day to try and get through and all I get is the dreaded answering machine. Even when leaving a message for them to call back, NOTHING!!!!! I have reported this company to LG as they say they are LG recommended of which they are not. NEVER USE THEM.
