Toorak Lodge Motel

we had the unfortunate situation of prebooking this hotel as we had a one night stay prior to flying out from Perth. I can see why you have to prebook and pay - we were put in room 219 - this is not a proper room. Its obviously been part of the managers quarters - they are obviously still in the other half seperated by a locked door. It was dark, dingy and disgusting. The noise!!! The bedroom obviously backs on to their kitchen and you could hear them doing dishes, chopping food etc...we did not get a wink of sleep despite banging on the wall and going downstairs to tell the reception staff about it. No apology, no reprieve - warn all to never stay here! Given the activity in the carpark...looks likely that ladies of the night use the place also...yeek!!
