I am really disappointed with the service I recieved from Evolve. I had Great Lengths ultrasonic extensions applied to my already healthy thick long hair last year in September as I wanted a bit more length while I wait for my natural hair to grow. I reserched great lengths and read that these extensions will not damage the hair if applied correctly I was also reassured this by Haidee.
The application process was unpleasent, it was painful and I left the salon with a headache but figured this was normal. I had a really itch scalp for the first 2 weeks and was also told by Haidee this is normal and will settle down after a couple of weeks.
After a few months of having the extensions in I thought they were matting as I could no longer run my fingers through my hair and I could feel where 2 extensions had become matted together. I rang evolve and explained this to them and they made me an appt to come in. Megan had a look at my hair and told me it's beautiful and to keep doing whatever I have been doing, she spliced some of the extensions with scissors to break them apart and told me I can come back in and she will do this again for me in a few weeks if i like. Megan also had her new born baby with her at the salon and was holding him whilst doing my hair wich I find extremely unprofessional.
After a few more weeks I started to loose at least 2 extensions per day and I could feel a matt on the side of my head and I counted there was 12 extensions matted together wich is when I thought I need to have these removed and phoned Evolve to make an appt.
The removal process was worse than the application. Haidee had to comb out all the matts in my hair and it was pulling and felt horrible, I was nearly in tears. After i arrived home I gave my hair a good wash and it was then I realised just how much damage the extensions have done to my hair. I have split ends and you can see where my hair has snapped half way up my head. I have also lost alot of thickness and length and my hair is in no way the healthy condition it was when I had the extensions applied. I followed all the correct maintenance and used the recommended sulphate free products and extension brush everyday.
I have tried to resolve this issue with Evolve but they keep telling me it's impossible for the extensions to cause damage and they won't take responsibility, they also deleted my review off thier facebook page without trying to come up with a solution and asking me politely to remove it. In my opinion the way this has been handled is very uprofessional! Not a happy customer!
