We needed a roadworthy asap and Hertford delivered. Nice and easy, informative and great price.

I’ve been going to Hertford for about 5 years now and I have never had an issue. I know a lot of people who use them because they are the original mechanics we all love. Family run, honest, reliable and never charge a cent over what they did. Highly recommend. They don’t make businesses like this anymore.

When i asked for an explanation on the shocker mounts being knocked in a roadworthy check, i was told that he doesn't make mistakes and if i didn't replace them he would not issue me with a roadworthy certificate. So i believe that he doesn't know how to test them as he told me he knocks all commodores on the same thing If he read Vic Roads Administration or the VACC customer obligations he would not be able to speak to a customer like that. I hope he is happy with the fact that he has $300 of unnecessary payment from me.

Would not recommend. Unnecessary and expensive work was suggested to pass a RWC. I declined and my vehicle passed its RWC at another mechanics with minimal work. An expensive mistake, the RWC test cost $125, not to be repeated.
