Getta Bargain

Absolutely appalled by what I witnessed at Getta Bargain today. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. A young boy, no older than 7, was rudely accused of stealing by an elderly female staff member, who barked at him in a harsh, aggressive tone. The poor child was clearly terrified, and the worst part? He hadn’t done a single thing wrong. No evidence, no reason, just pure assumption and a complete lack of professionalism.



Rather than calmly speaking to the parent or even discreetly checking the situation, this staff member chose to publicly humiliate and scare a child. What kind of store thinks this is okay? It was disgraceful, unethical, and completely unacceptable.



Even worse, it was painfully clear that the accusation was racially motivated. Targeting a young child based on appearance? That’s not just bad customer service, that’s discrimination. And don’t try to sweep it under the rug. This wasn’t an isolated incident, multiple customers have mentioned similar treatment in reviews, and now I’ve seen it with my own eyes.



The store itself is filthy, disorganised, and overpriced despite the name suggesting a “bargain.” Products are old, dusty, and haphazardly shoved onto shelves. Staff are rude, untrained, and clearly feel entitled to police their customers rather than assist them
