Sydney Tech Repairs

This my recent experience with DIO mobile repair shop (Shop 47) at seven hills plaza.. They are also called sydneytechrepairs.com.au. Writing this to bring awareness to all. This is my horrible experience.

November 2nd week I went to DIO at Seven Hills plaza to fix my Samsung Galaxy Camera. They fixed it but it introduced another problem.

My phone reception was flaky and not able to get 4G. After going back and forth I didn’t have any resolution. So frustrated. At one point they agreed to look at the issue, got my phone and returned it but the issue seems to be unresolved.

Almost the phone is useless. Cannot receive or make calls. Then took it to a shop at Westpoint. They are awesome!!! … they suspected the issue is on the daughter board.

They replaced it in front of me (I was able to see through their repair behind the glass) and whoo-hoo !!! all the reception came back. Luckily mother board is not an issue.

They also gave me the part they replaced and I noticed someone wrote 'A' on that with permanented marker. That solidify my suspicion on DIO repair. No one opened my phone other than DIO and the shop at Westpoint.

It has to be DIO. Either they knowing did something to that board or replaced it with damaged one. My suspicion is they stole my original part
