A little shop full to the brim with fabulous fabrics, quilts, ribbons, homemade children's clothing, patterns and more. Sophie and the staff are helpful, enthusiastic and brilliant with colour and fabric choices.

Where do I start? This isn't just a shop - it's an experience. I ALWAYS leave feeling totally inspired and renewed all over again. The creative juices just start flowing every time I'm there. From browsing the great book selection, the gorgeous ribbons, Liberty tootsie rolls, to just taking in the hand picked fabrics, this little space is a sensory and visual feast. Chatting with the staff, who just "get" that you love fabric and working with it (and stashing it), is such fun. Sophie and the girls are so interested in your projects and creative journey and happy to share their knowledge - their energy is infectious. I feel so lucky to have found this shop - it is a part of my creative life. I love it!

Materialise is the most amazing specialty fabric store in Perth. The quality and unique fabrics are fantastic. Sophie and her fabulous team give you the time and advice you need and you walk away feeling like you are not only a valued customer but you can't wait for your next experience. Since going to this store I have gone from a novice hobby sewer to a small business sewer thanks to the advice of sophie and the team. You won't regret popping into this store, their passion and love is reflected through the various projects that line the walls in the store. AMAZING

Sophie has a background in Fine Arts and is a master quilter. She offers one-on-one lessons, which I believe would be a valuable experience for both novices and seasoned quilters.

Materialise stocks the best fabric - luxurious Liberty of London, gorgeous authentic Japanese fabrics (especially hard to find Japanese Indigoes), fun kids prints, quality linen, to name only a few! These fabrics can be bought straight from the bolt, in starter packs, fat quarters, lovely little tootsie rolls, etc.

There are also many beautiful gifts, patterns, ribbons, books, homewares, quilting and sewing supplies.

It is also the only place in Perth that stocks 100% wool batting.

Materialise and the people who run it have created a space where like minded people can meet, share ideas and imagine (and realise!) their next project.
