Bupa Optical

Took my twin girls in for an eye test the optometrist had previous knowledge that the girls have a learning difficulty. He did the eye test and suggested that I wasn't doing enough as a parent in helping my kids at home. Then went on to tell me that the kids need glasses to help them focus. I then asked for information about the type of glasses they need and if they had a pamphlet but he said no and that he can do a set of glasses for the girls. He pretty much pushed us out of the door. I then walked away confused and frustrated and I immediately went back to speak to the sales guy and ask him if he could he knew more information about the glasses the girls needed. And i said its called enhancing focus glasses as that's all the information i received from the optometrist . He then had no idea of what i was talking about and went into see the optometrist to ask the question. The optometrist did not come out of his room at all to help me. However the sales person then said its the range on this side of the wall and proceeded to serve another customer. I then asked what was the price range on that side of the wall he said $360. Terrible service lack of respect and very little knowledge when it comes to kids with a learning difficulty. I am going to get a 2nd opinion will not go back to Bupa Smithfield again
