Happy Green Gardens

On Monday of this week I had to stop the female owner of Happy Green Gardens from entering our property and cutting back our golden cane palms and ginger plants that were in no way overhanging the neighbour's property. When I asked her what she was doing she claimed that she was cutting back the plants to reveal a sign that the cafe next door had placed on a shared wall quite some time ago. We had planted a garden bed in front of that sign and had every right to. At no time did she seek permission to undertake these actions. The Happy Green Gardens woman was not at all apologetic and, in fact, was self-righteous and indignant when she was confronted with my anger. We have spoken with the police and can have her charged with trespass and wilful damage. We have visited our local nursery and purchased a replacement plant at a cost of $120 to be put into the space where the plants were cut back from. Astonishing, ignorant, lacking in decency and unprofessional. We gave her an opportunity to apologise but she continued to be self-righteous and non-apologetic.
