Coolart

Coolart is a natural park around an historic homestead that is now used for community purposes. The park is quite large and stretches all the way to the beach so it is a lovely walk. During certain times of the year it hosts a very large colony of breeding ibis and last time we were lucky enough to see a koala. A lovely place for a picnic. There is a visitor centre to find out about the nature in the area. Careful on the drive there the narrow Peninsula roads can be beautiful but tricky.
