Very disappointed. Initial quote (by the boss) was for installation of gas ducted heating in the house, and a 2nd hand energy saving heater in the bungalow where I operate my business. The quote was very reasonable. However when the tradies came out to install the ducted heating, the 2nd hand heater had not been cleaned and was not ready for installation that day, as discussed. They also realised that this heater would not meet safety regulations, if installed as per the boss's initial instructions. They said that they would communicate this to the office, and that the office would be in touch regarding installation. That never happened. Several follow up calls and weeks later, a second group of tradies arrive to install the heater. As soon as the see the bungalow, they also say that this installation will not meet safety regs and cannot go ahead. Again, the office will be in touch to organise a solution. Again, this didn't happen until I followed it up. I spoke with the boss yesterday and arranged for him to come and assess the situation - he never showed up and didn't call. I have been hand-balled repeatedly by one of the receptionists, had to make all of the follow-up calls myself, have cancelled work commitments to be present for the installations, and have been waiting 6 weeks for this to be resolved. It's been a highly disappointing and frustrating experience, that I hope others can avoid.
