I have owned a Catering Company for 29 years and over that period have shopped at Executive Chef on may occasions. Recently (early March) I had the occasion to return a Furi East West Knife as the blade had developedthree cracks. The staff at Executive Chef stated they would pass it on to the representative at McPhersons for their consideration.Ten weeks passed ( I rang EC several times asking if any progress had been made) to which the replies were they would follow it up !!
Out of shear desperation I decided to ring McPhersons (agents) myself - I was transferred to their head office - they were very friendly and stated that all they required was a photo of the blade and they would action the problem from there.
This I did and one week later I had a replacement knife - no charge.
I wish to say that I was extremely upset with the way EC treated my problem, there was a distinct lack of serviceand I shall no longer (nor my staff) shop there
