above and beyond service

Today my partner and i had to print some last-minute pictures and Tim went above and beyond to help us out get the job done. He stayed back with another team member and helped us with this! We are grateful for your help and we will definitively go back for all our needs.

Went to Officeworks South Yarra ( 65-75 Commercial Rd, South Yarra ) this morning around 10.30am (27-08-14) to print 1 piece of B&W document. I was told by this staff (caucasian woman with brunette ponytail hair) at the front to go to the counter if I did not want to use the self-serve card as I did not have it, and I did not need it as I am going to leave to other state tomorrow.

I waited at the long queue for 15 minutes, and when it was my turn that caucasian staff at the front was coming to the counter and she said to me that they were fully booked for the day and its better for me to make appointment and come back tomorrow.

For merely printing 1 simple B&W document we have to make appointment?? It wont take even 2 minutes to do so. Let alone why would she ask me to come to the counter at the first place and then rejected me after I waited at the long queue?? To make fool of me in front of everyone behind the queue???

I told this matter to the manager on the phone, and the manager only asked me to come back to the store and she would show me how to use self-serve card. Didnt she hear that I do not need self serve card as I am leaving the day after???

If this branch doesn't do on-the-spot job that would be fine, but should say it at first place AND that they were fully booked for the day rather than asking someone to wait for 15 mins and then asked him to leave and come back the day after.

Whats wrong with this store? I have heard so much bad reviews about this branch in the past and now I know.

Don't come to this branch if you want to have on-the-spot job (as they don't do it); and be ready to experience a very rude customer service.
