Vogue Medical

After calling my usual doctors offices on a Saturday and being told I couldn't be seen (I had fallen off my bike and had some gravel grazes and cuts, and they didn't want to look at or dress my wounds), I called Vogue and got an appointment immediately.

I saw Dr Richard who was brilliant. The kind of doctor you want to see: straight up, to the point and got the job done brilliantly. I have now changed practice and will continue to see Dr Richard. His bedside manner was great, and my partner was so impressed he is also planning on coming here in future.

I'd recommend Dr Richard any time.

I dont usually make complaints, especially in such a public way, but I feel it necessary to voice my opinion on my experience at Vogue Medical.
A couple of weeks ago I suffered a work place injury that required 8 stitches in my hand. The consulting doctors treatment (she was an older lady of Asian decent I dont remember her name) was unacceptable. My hand was an open wound, when she grabbed my hand and used her tweezers to twist my wound and hand, I was told off for flinching. Even though she gave me an injection of anesthetic, she didnt wait long enough and I felt every single stitch, it hurt, she told me off again. I also didnt appreciate her belittling me and telling me I was too emotional about the pain, no one has any right to tell anyone how they should and shouldnt be acting in relation to pain experience. I have a history of debilitating pain resulting from being run over and subsequent surgeries. I understand pain. I have spent my fair share of time in hospital being treated by many different doctors and have never experienced anything like this one consultation.
I write this now, two weeks later as a work colleague has just attended your practice today and experienced the same ill treatment, presumably from the same doctor.
I have just attended the medical centre next door to you, to have my stitches removed your doctor didnt tell me to come back and have them taken out. I can honestly say your competition provided me with a positive experience that can not be compared to Vogue Medical treatment. They were friendly, efficient, compassionate and I am very happy with the service they provided me.

My wife also called in relation to the above, to voice her disapproval. She was told on the phone (not by the doctor but another staff member) that I had made the story up. That I had lied. Believe me, there is no reason for me to lie, there is nothing to gain.
