Melba Restaurant

If anyone is interested in a buffet, I would highly recommend the buffet at the Melba restaurant in the Langham hotel.
The warm ambience with the soft music makes you feel totally at ease and relaxed and each table has its own candle to set the mood. As your on the top floor, you have a view of the rest of Melbourne.

The food is certainly appetizing with Entree & Dessert looking like they have been carefully strung together and some sort of delicacy. There are cooking stations for a variety of cuisines such as Italian, Japanese, Chinese and Indian with cultural chefs to serve you. They even make fresh rotis with a choice of fillings at your request, right infront of you. And if you are a sea food lover, enjoy the scrumptious oysters and caviar alongside all the other mouth watering selections of sea food. Unlike some other restaurants that offer buffets, there is plenty of food even late into the night, so make sure you go back for seconds.

If you are after any help or drinks from the fine selection of wines, the attendants are not far off. We were charged $70 per person and it was well worth it for our memorable experience at Langhams some time ago! This was not much more than the buffet at the Crown but in my mind, a far more enjoyable experience.
