DO NOT USE

Purchased a new car with a rwc provided by them exactly a month before i bought it, for then to lose a bit of paper and have the same company different mechanic come out to do another roadworthy and completely refuse to do it with no explanation. I am sick of getting told they will ring back and sort it. DO NOT USE BEWARE

BEWARE! Disgusting company with a rude and arrogant manager! Had to threaten legal action to get a half decent outcome! DO NOT GET THEM TO INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE EVER!

I could write an essay on the details of everything that happened, but essentially got a safety inspection for my car with some questionably failed items. Fixed everything on the list they gave me anyway, was a day late getting the second appointment and they did a reinspection. Second guy from their company gave me a completely new list and in fact told me against advice of the first inspector that my back brake discs required replacing and that I potentially never needed to replace the front discs as they had previously advised me.

Ive heard of horror stories where people get entirely different lists of repairs from two different companies, but to get two different lists from the very same company is a complete joke!
Tried to have a quick conversation with the manager about it to sort out my grievances quickly and he immaturely hung up on me and was a complete child about it. He insisted to fob me off and only deal with me via email when one 10 minute adult conversation would have settled it on the spot.

Ended up calling the department of transport and fair trading, they were horrified about everything that had happened. In the end only a threat of legal action and calls to government departments was able to get me any relief from this joke of a company.

Auto King eventually agreed to refund the money I had paid them for all inspections, but still a huge waste of time for me and still no apology or even the slightest shred of sympathy for how I had been treated by their company.

There are many other grievances I had with them, I could go on in detail I can only imagine the BS and lies they will respond to this with. I do not careNo doubt half their existing reviews are written by their friends anyway... One simple apology and I wouldnt be writing this.

This is the second time I have used Auto King Mobile Mechanics. the first time for a RWC and they were honest and straight forward to deal with. Of course I have since then been around to have my car serviced and find that most reputable outlets will hold their knowledge above the customers 'know how' in mechanics etc.. and unfortunately most take advantage of a trusting customer. So I returned to Auto King an effort to avoid having my car held on ransom at a workshop with a list repairs through the roof. This also enables me to do school drop offs and not be restricted by by shift working hours. Dennis from Auto King arrived early as he had a cancellation earlier and called ahead to check if this was OK? He professionally diagnosed the car, listed the necessitates in order of mechanical priority, gave me options and alternatives, leaving the decision of factoring in my budget and time. We agreed on the repairs most necessary and discussed further required items in terms of quotes and my financial ability to schedule them. Dennis even recommended a workshop for a specific repair that is best done in a workshop and cost cheaper due to a possibility of repair rather than replace as he would have had to do. All in all 3 odd hours a full major service, filters, flush, break rotors, pads and the lot. The car drives like a dream he even stopped short of the last due transmission flush so that I could go pick up my son from school!! finishing the rest upon our return. I couldn't thank him and Auto King more for being there in a jungle of auto repairers head hunting vulnerable customers. Not only have I lost money in the past for sub standard repairs but has brought on unneeded stress, and a no good car to drive :-(! Dennis is just the benchmark all auto mechanic professionals should follow, customer focused, genuine, exceptional and most importantly knows how to fix a car really well!! Awesome my Subaru drives like a dream I would recommend them anytime...

Auto king are the best in the business! They are reliable, honest and its so convenient that they're mobile! The technician was thorough, polite and was able to explain things so even I could understand. Its a relief to find such an awesome company especially how helpful they are even with short notice. I could not speak more highly of the mechanics and the lovely gentlemen that book you in. Highly recommend!

My mechanic of choice. Always fast, reliable and very convenient. I had them go to my house, service my car and provide a safety certificate last week whilst I was at work. It doesn't get much easier than that.
