Diving The Gold Coast

A big thank you to Ian Banks from Diving the Gold Coast for one of the best scuba dives yet, definitely in the top 5.
Ian is a PADI instructor, underwater photographer and videographer. We dived the Gold Coast Seaway yesterday morning and it was amazing. Just before we stepped into the water, Ian said to me You are probably about to see the most fish you will find on a dive He wasnt wrong. We saw three Green Turtles!!! also spotted were Bull Sharks (yes Bull Sharks!), Giant Trevally, Barracuda, Gropers and thousands of other fish. Ian came prepared with a high end DSLR, video camera and underwater scooter. The 60min dive started with a short boat ride outside the Seaway into deeper water. After a quick backwards roll entry off the side of the boat, we descended to approx. 20M and then I hitched a ride hanging onto the scooter as Ian scanned over the seafloor and reef stopping to point out the fishlife and take some pictures and video. If you are in the Gold Coast looking to get some dives in, make sure to book a dive with Ian. It will be one of the best dives you ever do, trust me.
