Their tanks may be good - mine were installed in 2010 - but their service is very poor.
The motor they supplied in 2010 failed after 2 years and they told me, as they charged $1000 or so, that the warranty on the pump had expired.
My next contact was in late 2015 and early 2016 when, after some building work on my house, I called them to re-install the tanks and water harvesting system.
I should have gone with someone else then as they lost the photographs I had sent to them as email attachments and I had to send them again.
When the team of two came out to do the work, they had not brought enough materials to carry out the agreed work. It was a busy day with other tradies finishing up their work so I made the mistake of paying them without checking their work.
They had not connected the work and I sent photographs of the faults.
People from Aussie Water Savers replied that they would have to check with their people to find out what had happened.
I sent them a couple of emails, but they failed to reply.
So, in the end, I hired a qualified plumber - I am not certain Aussie Water Savers are qualified - to complete the work and paid the extra expense.
I am reporting Aussie Water Savers to the New South Wales Department of Fair Trading this month (March 2016) to try to recover the money the charged without completing the work.
There are plenty of rainwater harvesting people about: avoid Aussie Water Savers as they will bungle the job as they did with me.
