im a qualified nail technician and have shopped here for 2 years , very reluctantly however as they are not knowlegable about the products they sell and that i use in my business. Ive had the displeasure of looking through their pile of unorganized nail files and buffs, majority of which are not labled with gradients and are of poor quality to say the least , i have never bought any electrical products from here as ive have found identical items online, unopened for more then half the price of this store. i have not had to return to this store in a few months as i choose my brand i buy from them last year after a long time buying and testing worthless products from here in the last 2 years and that is purely because of the fact im am followed around this store like a theif and find that highy offensive considering the aboved mention information ... but i bit the bullet today having dropped my last bottle of primer , it was around 3 this afternoon i popped into the store and immediately informed who i thought was the owner (and older lady in a cap) that i was headed to the back to get 'primer' as instructed by the signs on the back room door to do so when you come in for nail products , this hasnt been a problem for a while as the lady recognised me and sent me straight through , we have dicussed this issue of being followed around previously and i am very understanding of the issue having worked in retail in over 1o years, that is why i told her exactly what i was after and yet the young employee whom ive never seen there before saw fit to follow me into the nail supply room anyway she asked me if i needed help to which i replied no thank you i know what im after no need to follow me ive been here before , she then went on to argue with me that it was her job to just so and informed me the manager sent her after me , i would have continued to impulse buy anything that caught my eye as i always have but the smug attitude and rude tone on this staff member was repulsive enough for me to almost not purchase my little 8.95 bottle of primer but i needed it, so i paid at the counter and ask the other woman for contact details for the owner to seek a proffesional resolution to this issue however she denied my request and instructed me to come back tomorrow to see management because she'll get into trouble if she gave me the phone number of the owner , she did however call the young girl over and ask why she said what she did and she denied it as first then went on once again repeating that she was just doing her job. there was no apology from the young staff member only more cockiness, my husband who was with me at the time was witness to the whole thing and came back into the store after hearing her lie to her superior about the incident, this lousy attitude will not serve well for this business , i will be passing on my horrible shopping experience in this store to my friends and colleagues in the nail and beauty industry and advising them they'd be better off taking there chances ordering online from somewhere else entirely .
