Creativ Kitchens and Wardrobes

If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately I have to give 1. I don't even know where to start this review. If I were to list every problem we encountered with Creative Kitchens I would be writing for several days.

We came to Creativ to initiate the design process of our kitchen months before the room for our kitchen had even been built. Our biggest regret was putting down a deposit which meant we had to go with Creativ once the kitchen was ready to be comissioned.

The initial design process was difficult, mostly done by ourselves and with little to no assistance from the people we dealt with in the show rooms (Leanne primarily) as they were not helpful, complicated things, did not understand simple things being explained, we should have just pulled out of the contract and gone elsewhere.

As we did not want to waste the deposit, we stupidly went through with Creativ and after a very tedious and difficult task to design the kitchen that we wanted (after being told several things we required, they were unable to do for no reason what so ever but that 'they can't do that') Our kitchen is not particularly large in size, did require some customisation but you'd expect someone who is the kitchen making business would be able to do so without a complaint or any degree of difficulty & our requests were not difficult ones.

Everyone at this company that we have had to deal with have been incompetent, complacent, lazy and have not taken responsibility for their own mistakes but rather blame their client for their problems. We have gone above and beyond as a client and have had to rectify mistakes made by them as we do not need any further delay in completion of our kitchen that we were advised would take a week to complete. We are now 7 weeks after the est. completion date and have a half done kitchen which is of bad quality.

Our only fault as a client was that we signed a contract that stipulated that 100% of payment be made BEFORE they even install.

It was unlucky we chose Creativ Kitchen..We are happy to have new kitchen but it was a bad experience working with creativ, and we had to spend more money because of their poor workmanship.
After we had meeting with designer and we decided to change to better stone and better joint type (called mitered joint) waterfall counter. Stone price on the quote jumped up because of these changes, and we agreed. On that quote, it said "mitered joint" waterfall. On the final quote, we checked all the prices were same as the last quote, and we signed. But designer made mistake that she wrote "butt-joint" instead of "mitered joint". It was hard for us to notice the mistake before we signed because the price did not change. (If butt-joint, it should be cheaper).
Stone installer just saw the word "butt" and they started installing butt-joint waterfall. It was not our order, so we asked them to re-install correct waterfall. To do that they had to order another stone to make mitered joint waterfall.
Then Creativ said it was all our fault but they can pay 20%.
At this stage, we were so disappointed about their workmanship because we expected they would admit their mistake as a professional and they would fix our waterfall for customer satisfaction. If they said they would pay 50%, it would be felt much better than 20%...
After we discuses, we had to pay 60% of the cost of new stone installing. We didn't agree at all but we needed counter as soon as possible..
Also the splashback installer promised to install the white glass splashback as the picture we showed, but it was blue-white as the picture we said we do not want that...
We haven't have any replying about this yet.

I fell in love with a photo of a kitchen in the American Architectural Digest. The designer at Creative was able to interpret the design to fit my kitchen layout and even improved it. The quality was first class. There was a small issue with an under-mount LED light, their serviceman came out within the week to fix it.

We have had a terrible experience with Creativ Kitchens. There were 15 issues with the kitchen that they installed that took them 4 weeks to be fixed. They still owe me $3200 that was to be refunded in mid December and I am still waiting!! I have sent so many emails chasing the money and they reply that it is about to be paid but it never appears in my bank account. It has been such a draining experience dealing with this company.
