We sold using Deane's in 2007. Their approach was proactive and honest. The agent came out to look at our property from the street during daylight hours before our initial (evening) meeting with him so that he was prepared and could make a full appraisal despite it being dark when we had our meeting. There were no additional marketing fees - just statutory commission. The agent was proactive and we got a sale very quickly (actually, the house never even hit realestate.com because the first buyer they brought round bought the house).
