From start to finish Maria and the team at Sheldon were absolutely fantastic!
They went above and beyond and were so understanding with the pressures and difficulties that you face while planning a wedding (through a Pandemic). Our night wouldn't have been as magical without all your help guys, thank you so much!!

The worst experience ever. Maria, the event manager is one of the most unprofessional people that I have dealt with, especially for a person in the wedding industry. Unaccommodating, rude, late replies/no reply to emails and phone calls, added on extra costs when we needed to postpone due to government restrictions even though we were told a postponement due to COVID would be smooth. We are now cancelling with 2 months notice due to restrictions again, no refund, even though they had not been provided a service. Cancelling with Sheldon as I do not want to be charged again for postponement, and would rather spend my money at a company that has polite and professional staff that know how to respond to an email in a timely manner.
THEN after reading my review on facebook, another event manager named Lily called within 10 minutes of reading it and basically abused and said she was "so confused". She was hostile, rude, spoke over me the entire time and in the end HUNG UP on me as I refused to continue business with them after I explained how poor the experience has been this year from their email/phone correspondence, and even with this particular phone call being super unpleasant.
Please save yourself some time and money and spend it at another venue to celebrate your special day without the added stress of unprofessional event managers from Sheldon.

Went there for a friends wedding, the venue is beautiful and food was amazing, wait staff are really friendly and always on top when it comes to refilling drinks
Definitely recommend this venue and looking forward to go back there

The absolute worst service I have ever encountered in my life. If you are considering to send business their way, I urge you to think twice. Maria 'the manager' started off as a lovely person but when things don't go her way, she will turn on you faster than you can imagine.
My partner and I left a deposit with Maria for $3,000.00 in January 2020 just before the pandemic. In July 2020 she urged us for another $7000 even through the thick of covid as it was in her 'contract'. She said there were talks in a couple of weeks there would be no restrictions and to place the $7,000.00 deposit. We didn't leave a deposit with her and rightly so. In August, we went in to hard lock down.
We did the right thing and tried to ask if she could accommodate us. Although we signed for 200 people, if the restrictions from the GOVERNMENT were only allowing for 50 people, would she accommodate us and charge us for only 50 people? Her response - we will charge you for 200.
"Cancel the booking so I can go ahead and book it with someone else." Even if the government only allowed for a lower figure, she was ready to charge customers the full balance of services not rendered.
After countless phone calls, even visits to the premise to attempt to get our money back, she has not honoured her refund. She is an absolute horrible person. Yells at staff, talks over customers and we are not the only couple to experience this. She is actually crazy.
She said we would be able to get our money back if the event was booked for more than the amount of people originally booked. The event has passed, still haven't received anything. It is now March 2021.

Very bad customer service, nice place run by wrong management. Originally in september 2015 we booked for our wedding in march 2016. Unfortunately 3 weeks after we paid the deposit, due to family issue, we had no choice but to reschedule the wedding day. We contacted them ASAP (6 months prior the wedding day) however they told us they don't do rescheduling. In order to reschedule we must cancel our original booking and rebook the new date. Also, they will refund or transfer 75% of our deposit to the new date only if someone else were to book the original date. All we wanted was to reschedule it. Without thinking and purely listening to their side, we signed the cancellation form. We continuously contacted them and politely asked if it was possible to reschedule without losing the deposit however they replied to us saying in order to rechedule we have to "cancel" the original date when we purely wanted to change the date only. Now they're also telling us since they renovated the venue the price has increased and intending to charge us double the price if we were to book again. FYI the date we original booked in march is AFTER the renovation already but they think it is reasonable to charge us double the price. Me and my fianc is speechless. Not to mention as soon as we signed the cancellation form the lady there continuously gave us attitude. She is such a two face. When we first approached her she was so welcoming and friendly however now she sees us worse than beggars. At the end we have lost our $2k deposit. Never gonna recommend anyone to go there.
