Does maintenance & service assist in reducing energy consumption?
Absolutely. Regular maintenance ensures that your air conditioning will work when you need it most & keep on working throughout the years. Benefits of regular maintenance include, reduces breakdown costs, keeps the unit running efficiently which in turn saves on energy consumption and maximises life cycle of air conditioning unit.
What type of equipment do you service, repair, maintain, install & apply energy savings to?
All types. We can also provide energy savings to small commercial splits/package units or large commercial chilies. The higher your energy bill the more you save!
What is an Inverter?
An inverter is a type of power conversion circuit which provides optimum power control and extremely efficient operation by changing the frequency of the power supply. So even though you get speedy, flexible operation, you use less electricity than conventional units.
How far away from the wall should the outdoor unit be (from the front and back of it)?
At the front (fan side) of the unit, no less than 1m is recommended for a small split AC and 2m for a large package AC. More would be preferable. At the back (no fan) of the unit, no less than 100mm is needed for a small split AC and 200mm for a large package AC. More would be preferable. NB all outdoor units not only need a minimum distance around them but also must be located so that the hot air they blow out can escape away from the unit and new cooler air can be taken through the unit.

What is the highest consumer of energy in any property?
In most buildings, air conditioning accounts for up to 60% of energy use.
The outside unit drips water. Is this normal?
It is completely normal for the outside unit to drip water, particularly when operating a window unit or in heating mode. The unit has a drain outlet and coupling supplied should you wish to connect a drainpipe to remove this water.
Who can service, repair, maintain or install air conditioning?
The individual is required by law to be "ARC Tick Approved" to carry out the works. This ensures the technicians are a qualified experienced trades person and hold the necessary licenses, permits, insurances etc. Otherwise, your insurances or warranty may be invalid & your property not protected if there is subsequent damage.
At what temperature should we set the thermostat?
Thermostats should be set between 25-27°C. Every 1°C lower can increase running costs by up to 15% or cost you for repairs because they do like a break every so often.
How long does it take to install a new air conditioning unit?
We can arrange the installation at a time convenient to you. Most residential installations of a split system generally take 4-6 hours. An installation of a ducted system generally takes 1 day. If additional work is required, the time frame may extend.

Quick and extremely reliable service! Called the after hours team on Sunday and they came out very promptly , Had AC unit fixed and working in an hour. Super nice employees and a very knowledgeable technician.

Highly recommend vital Air conditioning
I called for a repair, the technician was here within an hour, the initial call out was a little more compared to other quotes I got from the local paper. However they did an amazing job on my Air Conditioning and the office stuff were very professional. Money well spent!!!!!

Absolute life savers, contacted them on the 6th February via email due to their phone messaging service advising me to send an email. They got back to me on the same day advised me of their call out fee. They advised me they can come out on the 14th February but sent me another email advising me they can send someone out on the 9th February. I took that day and they came to our house at the time it was booked in for. The technician told us that the capacitor in the roof that drives the fan requires replacement and that the tank needed to be topped up with gas, gave us the price and we advised him to complete the repair which he did within 1 hour. Thank you for your fast, efficient and friendly service.

The hottest days we have ever seen and having a newborn baby in the house and our Aircon decided to stop working, had to spend the night in the car with the Aircon on!! because the baby couldn't handle the heat called around with desperation but got nothing but empty promises, checked online and found vital air conditioning services And thank God we did the guys were absolutely amazing, from Mark that made it happen to the tech that did the job, on time got the job done and air con working at a good affordable price.
This put a lot of stress on our young family, its so nice to still find a good honest company that keep their word and deliver I highly recommend vital air conditioning services we thank you so much
