Not at ALL a genuine lawyer. I met Brett Slater on 20th february and advised him the situation on my brother visa status. He asked me to deposit $1500 as an upfront payment and emailed me the visa application form to be signed by my brother. For personal reason my brother had to leave Australia and he didn't signed any paperwork and left on 28th february. I emailed and called Brett slater and advise him of his situation , he said thats fine and will refund the money and then for 4 weeks i kept calling to the office and they kept on delaying after 1 month i received a sum of $135.00 ONLY and was advised they researching and studying on my brother case ?????? Even when no paperwork was submitted?? . I felt ripped off by them, may be that is the reason why they took about 4 weeks to return the money so they can prove they been researching on my brothers case even though i told them a week later when i had my first meeting that my brother has gone and no service was required...
