On the 26th May, made a claim, based on information provided by their employee on the 21st May that a $100 excess would apply for glass breakage (cooktop). Informed repairer to go ahead based on that information. Today CommInsure phone and say there will be a $1000 excess. Incompetent company. If I had been informed correctly initially I would have purchased a new cooktop as the cost now is in excess of a new one that would come with a two year warranty.
Incompetent and slow company. Go elsewhere for insurance.
