i have cafe and we got pipe blocked, it was not an emergency... two guys came with high pressure machine... it took only 20mins and they charged me $875. i never ever going to call them back again.

We unfortunately accidentally drilled a hole through one of our pipes after 5pm. We called them and they quote us a call out fee which we agreed to. We explained to him the situation and said to him that we know all he has to do is cut out a peice of pipe and replace a small section of our existing pipe to fix the problem. Our Coolibah guy said is it not that simple and will require much more complex works than that and it would cost us $900 total to fix the problem. We agreed to the price as we needed it fixed. Then once all papers are signed the guy proceeded to do exactly what we said he would need to do - cut out a peice of pipe to replace the existing damaged pipe. When finished he asked for the $900. When we confronted him that we felt cheated and lied to because the work he did was not as complex as he said initially and that was the basis for charging us at such a high rate was false. His reply was that he had to use a $5000 machine to complete the work, therefore he had to charge us at this rate regardless.
Having signed the papers and the works are done we had no choice but to pay the guy. We called the company seeking a manager the next day to talk about this but the man who answered the phone would hear none of it. He said regardless of the equipment used, our guy had a list of prices to work off. But then he charged us for doing a "more complicated" works, but actually only did something quite simple in the end. The man on the phone go on to say that the high price was due to it being after hour and everything we were charged would have been doubling what normal prices are (we were not told, of course). Call out fee of @ $260 and $700 to replace a small cut out section of pipe which was done quite quickly. Total bill of $900. Will not be a returning customer. We don't recommend anyone using their services despite their professional looking website.
