If you're looking for ski boots do NOT shop at Inski! Unfortunately skiers don't have many good options for boots in Sydney, Inski is definitely not helping this situations. We purchased a boot fitting prior to investing in a new pair of "fitted boots" for a 5-day skiing trip to NZ in 2012. The boots were only used on green and blue groomers by a new skier, not really anything challenging.
Earlier this year, while skiing in Big Sky it was evident there was way too much play in the fitting of the boot, so we went to an accredited boot fitter who knew what they were doing. The boots supplied by Inski were two sizes too big, and couldn't be adjusted to suit the small foot. Upon review by Paul at Inski he conceded the boot shell was too big, but somehow it was our fault for not identifying this as a beginner skier.
Inski has offered a $200 store credit to us for a pair of boots apparently fitted by a professional. Noting that it's likely these boots will be resold and Inski has a significant mark-up on their product, they're really not taking any of the financial burden in this situation.
So we have paid over $400 for a pair of boots and a fitting that were used for a total of 6 days, keep this in mind when purchasing anything in the Sydney ski market. I'd suggest purchasing closer to the slopes from people who know what they're doing, and stand by their service. You're certainly not paying a price penalty to purchase at the slopes over the Sydney market.
I wouldn't buy a yacht in Ayers Rock, so why buy boots remote from the snow! Lesson learnt, please share this with anyone likely to make the same mistake.
